Browser Extensions
Quick links:
- Chrome extension
- Firefox extension
- Safari extension (you only need this if you're not running Secrets from the Mac App Store)
Secrets can integrate with various browsers to provide a convenient shortcut for filling logins and credit card information in forms while you browse the web.
The browser extension is also compatible with browsers running on non-Apple platforms such as Windows or Linux. In such cases, since there is no locally running app, the extension can securely request data from Secrets running on your iPhone or iPad instead. For more information, please refer to the Remote Access section.
When downloaded from the Mac App Store, Secrets already includes the Safari extension. To enable it, simply open Safari's "Extensions" settings.
If you're running Secrets from Setapp or using macOS Monterey (not supported by Secrets), you can install the Safari extension from the Mac App Store.
Additionally, Secrets provides a Chrome extension and a Firefox extension. The Chrome extension also works with various other Chromium-based browsers including: Microsoft Edge, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera and others.
